23/37096/COU – Retention of change of use for existing menage & car parking from private to business use. Corner Farm Green Lane Sugnall. Approved.
23/37184/LDCPP – Proposed single storey rear extension (Class A), proposed porch on front elevation (Class D), and proposed upward extension at the property (subject to a Class AA prior approval issued in tandem with this application) to be implemented at the same time as the above, subject to it firstly being approved by the LPA. Cllr. P. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests as a current member of the Borough Council planning committee.
23/37376/PAR – To use the existing barn and garage building into a supportive relative annex for my elderly mother. Greatwood Offleybrook, Stafford. There were no objections to this application but the council requests the application of conditions to ensure it must remain ancillary to the main property and not sold separately or be granted a future change of use.
22/36599/LBC – Retention of replaced windows to front elevation, and paint removal to walls in vehicle entrance. 54 High Street Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application.

23/37164/FUL – Retain existing equestrian business. Land Adjacent Bramble Cottage Wincote Lane Wootton. There were no objections to this application.
23/37100/OUT -Amended Application. Land Adjacent Bramble Cottage Wincote Lane Wootton. Members considered the additional consultee comments on the planning portal but it was resolved to continue to object to the application as the comments did not affect the reasons for the original response.
23/37135/HOU – Consideration of information provided by SBC planning officer in relation to previous response on Erection of porch extension and alterations to existing fenestration to dwelling. The Old Stables Wincote Lane. Members considered the information provided and whilst it was agreed that the NPPF (National Planning Policy Framework) did not provide specifics on restrictions to extensions to barn conversions, it was resolved to continue to object in line with policy E2 of the Local Plan and Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015 for Class Q, both of which note restrictions on extensions beyond the original footprint within rural areas.
